🎓 Project summary
This grant supports a portable VRelovate showcase platform for Opportunity Tech Lab engagement at the National Disability Summit at Crown Promenade Melbourne in September 2026. The showcase will use existing VRelovate modules, current OTL headsets, and portable demonstration materials to present OTL’s disability, workplace participation, and inclusive technology work to external stakeholders.
The summit provides a concentrated external engagement setting where OTL can demonstrate its applied research capability, identify prospective partners and funders, and build pathways toward future applied research, philanthropic support, and external funding bids. The portable showcase framing makes the investment reusable beyond a single event through prepared demonstration workflows, materials, and follow-up processes.
🤝 Partner engagement
Wallara is a key partner connected to the VRelovate work and confirmed co-sponsorship support for the showcase. The partner-facing component strengthens conversations about open employment pathways, supported employee transition, and the practical value of VRelovate in disability employment settings.
🎯 Expected outcomes
- A prepared VRelovate demonstration using existing headsets and bespoke modules.
- A visible OTL presence at the National Disability Summit.
- Direct conversations with disability-sector stakeholders, potential partners, and funders.
- Documented follow-up opportunities for applied research partnerships and external funding.
- A clearer evidence base for how VRelovate can support disability inclusion, workplace participation, and partner engagement.
